The offense continued for the ‘Stormers in the fifth, as they added three runs to extend their advantage to six. Long Island scored single runs in the fifth and seventh but could not inch closer.

Durbin (2-0) got the win, tossing six innings, allowing five runs on seven hits while striking out four. Zimmermann (0-1) suffered the loss, surrendering six runs on six hits with six strikeouts in three and one-third innings.

Kraig Binick led the Ducks with three hits.
