The Long Island Ducks annual Patriotic Jersey Auction took place this past weekend when the Ducks faced the Staten Island FerryHawks at Fairfield Properties Ballpark. Fans were able to bid on special red, white and blue jerseys that were worn by Ducks players and coaches for the July 1-3 “Battle of the Belt” games.

Fans were able to place their bids throughout the weekend, ending on Monday, July 3, at 10:35 p.m. Bids started at $75, and those wishing to place their bids could do so via the LiveSource mobile app. Winners will be contacted by the Ducks organization in the days following the auction.

Net proceeds from the auction will benefit the QuackerJack Foundation, the charitable arm of the Ducks. All donations are tax deductible. The QuackerJack Foundation has contributed to thousands of non-profit and like organizations each year while bringing awareness to worthy programs and causes in need of assistance on Long Island.

The Long Island Ducks are members of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball, a Professional Partner League of Major League Baseball. Over 8.5 million fans have enjoyed the Ducks brand of affordable, fun entertainment at Fairfield Properties Ballpark since inception in 2000.
