Lancaster struck first in the second inning on a RBI double by Casey Frawley off Ducks starter Matt Way. Two more runs in the third inning on a wild pitch by Way and a RBI single by Cole Garner increased the lead to three.

Long Island scored their first run of the game in the third on a sacrifice fly to center by Fehlandt Lentini off Barnstormers starter Chris Schwinden. However, a solo home run to right in the fourth by Lance Zawadzki in the fourth pushed the lead back to three at 4-1. Lew Ford cut the deficit to 4-3 in the sixth with a two-run homer to left and tied the game at four in the eighth with a RBI single to center.

It would stay tied until the top of the 10th when Yusuke Kajimoto hit a solo homer to right to put Lancaster on top for good.

Neither starter factored into the decision. Schwinden tossed six innings, allowing three runs (two earned) on six hits while striking out six. Way yielded four runs on five hits and three walks while striking out two in five innings. Ross Peeples (2-0) got the win after pitching a scoreless two-thirds of an inning. Jeremy Accardo (2-1) suffered the loss, surrendering a run on two hits in two innings of relief. Pete Andrelczyk earned his third save with a perfect 10th inning.

Ford led the Flock at the plate with four hits and three RBI.
