Long Island tried to rally but could not get on the scoreboard before the rain began to fall in the sixth inning, and the game was called shortly thereafter due to inclement weather.

Bluefish starter Hunter Jones (2-5) picked up the win, tossing five and two-third shutout innings, surrendering just three hits and one walk with five strikeouts. Long Island starter John Brownell suffered the loss, letting up four runs on six hits in six innings of work.
