Camden jumped out to a 2-0 lead on solo home runs by Valentino Pascucci and D’Angelo Jimenez in the second off Ducks starter Bob Zimmermann. Ralph Henriquez cut the deficit in half in the bottom of the frame with a solo homer off Riversharks starter Scott Gorgen.

Pascucci’s two-run homer to center in the third and a RBI single by Dionys Cesar in the seventh pushed the lead to 5-1. However, a three-run blast to right by Joash Brodin in the bottom of the seventh and a run-scoring error on Brodin’s infield single in the ninth tied the game at five.

Camden took the lead back in the 10th on a solo homer to right by Delwyn Young and a two-run double to left by Yasser Gomez. However, a six-run rally in the bottom of the inning gave Long Island the dramatic win. Ray Navarrete’s RBI single, Kraig Binick’s sac fly to left and Brodin’s waddle-off grand slam to right highlighted the comeback.

Neither starter factored into the decision. Zimmermann yielded five runs on 11 hits while striking out four in six and one-third innings, and Gorgen tossed six innings, allowing one run on two hits and four walks with four strikeouts. Jared Lansford (3-1) picked up the win despite giving up three runs on five hits in two innings of relief. Adrian Martin (2-3) suffered the loss, surrendering seven runs (one earned) on six hits in one and two-thirds innings.

Brodin led the Ducks with three hits and seven runs batted in. Navarrete, Bryant Nelson and Adam Bailey each added two hits and a run scored.

Duck Tales: The waddle-off win was the fourth of the season for the Ducks and second for Joash Brodin. The switch-hitter also picked up a walk-off hit in game two of a doubleheader on June 9 against Southern Maryland. It was the first time this season the Ducks won a game on a walk-off home run…Brodin became the first Duck this season with seven RBI in a game. The previous high was six, done by Bill Hall on June 8 vs. Southern Maryland in game two of a twinbill. The seven RBI were one shy of the franchise record for a single game of eight, done by Ray Navarrete on June 8, 2008 against Newark and John Rodriguez on June 9, 2011 at Lancaster…Brodin also became the fourth Duck this season with a multi-homer game. The other three to hit multiple homers in a game were Bryant Nelson (May 1), Ben Broussard (May 31) and Hall (June 8 – game two). He is now just the third Duck to hit a grand slam in 2013, joining Danny Perales (April 26) and Hall (June 8 – game two)…Ralph Henriquez’s solo homer was his fifth of the season. All five of Henriquez’s longballs have come from the left side of the plate. The Ducks have now gone deep in each of their last four games, clubbing six longballs in that span. The Ducks have hit 83 homers this season which leads the Atlantic League…Danny Herrera made his Ducks debut out of the bullpen, pitching a perfect eighth inning. The southpaw threw just nine pitches (eight for strikes) and earned a strikeout as well. The former Major Leaguer spent four seasons at the game’s highest level with the Cincinnati Reds, Milwaukee Brewers and New York Mets…The victory tied the season-high for the largest comeback win at four runs. The Ducks also came from four runs down to win on July 4 against the Somerset Patriots. The Ducks have totaled 16 come-from-behind wins this season. It was also the team’s fifth win of the year when trailing after seven innings…The 11 runs scored by the Ducks were their most in a single game this season. The previous high was 10, done three different times, most recently on Wednesday in a 10-6 win over Southern Maryland.
