Fireworks + Free Ticket for 7/7 promo underway

(Central Islip, N.Y., May 27, 2014) – The Long Island Ducks today announced the first-ever “Lucky 7” promotion in club history. Fans purchasing a ticket to the upcoming Monday, June 2 Pyrotecnico Fireworks Extravaganza that mention “Lucky 7” at the box office or enter the “lucky7” promo code online, will receive a FREE ticket to July 7’s (7/7) Ducks game vs. Sugar Land.

“Individual ticket buyers have proven their love of promotions, discounts and fireworks,” said Ducks President/GM Michael Pfaff. “With this being the case it was time to expand our efforts to meet that demand for each.”

On Monday, June 2 the 2-time defending Atlantic League champion Ducks will face manager Butch Hobson and the Lancaster Barnstormers at 6:35 pm. Following the game, fireworks will light the Bethpage Ballpark sky, courtesy of Bank of America. Lancaster boasts one of the league’s best records and leading hitters (Blake Gailen).

On Monday, July 7, the Ducks opponent will be the Sugar Land (Texas) Skeeters, managed by former Minnesota Twins great Gary Gaetti. The Skeeters feature a roster that currently includes NBA legend Tracy McGrady, in his first season as a professional baseball player. The first 1,500 fans through the gate will receive drawstring backpacks, courtesy of People’s Alliance Federal Credit Union.
