Vaccines to be distributed in suite level of Fairfield Properties Ballpark
 

(Central Islip, N.Y., Jan. 14, 2021) – The Long Island Ducks and Northwell Health have teamed up to utilize Fairfield Properties Ballpark, home of the Long Island Ducks, as a COVID-19 vaccine distribution center.

“This is the community’s ballpark,” said Ducks Founder/CEO Frank Boulton. “It is a pleasure to work with our partners at Northwell Health to assist the community as we look to defeat COVID-19.”

Currently, vaccine appointments are being offered only to those eligible, as defined by New York State. Only those with confirmed appointments will be permitted entrance to Fairfield Properties Ballpark for vaccination. No walk-ins will be allowed. Those who meet the eligibility requirements can make an appointment to get the vaccine at the ballpark by clicking here. “In both good times and difficult times, we support the community,” said Ducks President/GM Michael Pfaff. “While this is certainly the latter, we are happy to be a small part of a solution that will assist in getting all of Long Island back on the field as soon as possible.”
