Lancaster took a 2-0 lead in the second inning on a two-run home run to left by Casey Frawley off Ducks starter Bobby Blevins. It stayed that way until the bottom of the sixth when Long Island exploded for six runs and sent 11 batters to the plate. Two-run singles from Brendan Harris and Randy Ruiz and RBI singles from Lew Ford and Adam Bailey did the damage.

The Ducks added another run in the seventh on a passed ball with the bases loaded that scored Cody Puckett. The Barnstormers scored twice in the eighth on a two-run single by Wilson Batista, but a solo homer to left in the bottom of the frame by Jon Myers put the game out of reach.

Blevins (3-1) earned the win, tossing seven innings, allowing two runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out seven. Barnstormers starter Chris Schwinden did not factor into the decision, allowing two runs on 11 hits in five and one-third innings. Pete Andrelczyk (0-4) took the loss, surrendering four runs on three hits and a walk to the five batters he faced.

Every Ducks batter reached base in the game, and eight of the nine batters either scored or drove in a run. Ford led the Flock with four hits, while Dan Lyons added three.

The Ducks and Barnstormers continue their four-game set on Wednesday night. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m., with gates opening at 5:35 p.m. Right-hander Shaun Garceau toes the rubber for the Ducks against Barnstormers righty Cody Scarpetta.
