Vladimir Frias matched Hobson in the fourth inning with a two-run homer of his own to make it 4-1 Lancaster. The Barnstormers added a run in the fifth, then Travis Snider crushed a solo blast over the right field wall in the sixth to bring the score to 5-2.

The Barnstormers separated themselves from the Flock in the bottom half of the sixth with a pair of runs off an RBI single from Darian Sandford and a bases-loaded hit by pitch drawn by Hobson. Emilio Bonifacio cut into the lead with a run-scoring base hit in the top of the seventh inning.

Brooks Hall (4-2) earned the win, pitching six innings, allowing two runs on five hits while striking out five. Larkins (5-2) suffered the loss, yielding seven runs on eleven hits and a walk over five and one-third innings with a pair of strikeouts.

Lew Ford paced the Flock with a pair of hits.
