(Central Islip, N.Y., July 3, 2023) – The Long Island Ducks were defeated by the Staten Island FerryHawks 14-3 on Monday night before a past-capacity crowd of 7,151 in the finale of a four-game series at Fairfield Properties Ballpark.
Long Island’s offense was led Brantley Bell, who drove in two runs with a double. Wilson Ramos also doubled to drive in a run and scored one as well.
The Ducks hit the road on Tuesday night to begin a three-game series against the Lancaster Barnstormers. First pitch is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. at Clipper Magazine Stadium. Long Island returns home on Tuesday, July 11, to begin another three-game set with Lancaster. Game time is slated for 6:35 p.m., with the Fairfield Properties Ballpark gates opening at 5:35 (5:20 for full season ticket holders). It’s a Triple Play Tuesday at the ballpark, and if the Ducks turn a triple play during the game, one lucky fan will win $25,000.
