Camden dotted the scoreboard first on Brian Burgamy’s RBI double to center off Ducks starter Chris Hayes in the opening inning. Brandon Sing tied the game in the second with a solo home run to left off Riversharks starter Kevin Reese.

A RBI groundout by Burgamy put Camden back in front in the third, but a pair of three-run innings in the third and fourth slingshot the Ducks back in front. Reid Gorecki’s solo homer, Bryant Nelson’s RBI double and RBI singles by Ray Navarrete, Sing and Timo Perez highlighted the scoring.

Burgamy cut the deficit to one in the seventh with a three-run home run to left-center, but the Ducks put the game away with a two-run bottom of the inning and two more in the eighth. Solo homers by Gorecki and Sing, a run-scoring wild pitch and a sac fly by Mitch Canham did the damage.

Hayes (3-3) picked up the win, tossing six and two-thirds innings, allowing six runs (two earned) on nine hits while striking out four. Reese (3-7) suffered the loss, yielding seven runs on 10 hits in three and one-third innings.

Sing, Gorecki and Perez each had four hits to lead the Ducks’ offensive attack. Sing drove in three runs and scored twice, while Gorecki collected two RBI and three runs.
