(York, Pa., Sept. 4, 2026) – The Long Island Ducks were defeated by the York Revolution Friday night in the fourth game of a six-game series at WellSpan Park.
Long Island was led offensively by Henry Kusiak, who singled, doubled and stole his third base of the season. Anthony Garcia drew a walk in his final plate appearance to extend his on-base streak to 14 consecutive games overall and has now reached base safely in 46 of his 48 games played with the Flock. Jorge Bonifacio singled and drew a free pass to extend his hitting streak to eight straight contests. Marcus Chiu singled and was hit by a pitch for a league-leading 35th time on the campaign, and Alsander Womack had a base hit to extend his on-base streak to 10 straight ballgames.
The Ducks and Revolution continue their six-game set on Saturday evening. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.at WellSpan Park. Long Island returns home on Friday, September 11, for their final homestand of the regular season as they begin a three-game weekend series against the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs. Game time is slated for 6:35 p.m., with the Fairfield Properties Ballpark gates opening at 5:35 (5:20 for full season ticket holders).
