QJ attends festival in Flushing
(Flushing, N.Y., Oct. 18, 2013) – On Friday, October 18, QuackerJack visited PS 233Q in Flushing to take part in their Breast Cancer Awareness Celebration. Hundreds of students and faculty attended the charitable event.
QJ was joined by Mr. Met and DJ Fantastik for the festivities and brought smiles to the faces of handicapped children and the staff all morning long. Long Island’s favorite mascot danced to several songs along with the students, posed for pictures and helped raise funds that were donated to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. It was a fun-filled and meaningful day for everyone in attendance.
QuackerJack and the Ducks Street Team, powered by National Grid, will attend the upcoming events listed below throughout the remainder of October. Be sure to stop by and congratulate the Ducks on winning back-to-back Atlantic League championships!
