In game two, the Blue Crabs struck first with two runs in the second inning, scoring on a RBI groundout and a sacrifice fly. They added three more in the fifth inning, with two scoring on an error and the other on a RBI single by Ryan Mulhern.

Joash Brodin hit a solo home run to right field in the sixth inning to put the Ducks on the board, but Southern Maryland scored single runs in the seventh and eighth innings and two more in the ninth inning to put the game out of reach.

Blue Crabs starter Daryl Thompson (3-3) earned the win, giving up one run on four hits in seven innings of work. Long Island starter Matt Way (2-3) took the loss, surrendering six runs (two earned) on six hits with six strikeouts in seven innings.
