The Long Island Ducks took the streets of two Long Island communities this past weekend to take part in annual St. Patrick’s Day parades. All of the festivities kicked off during the Bay Shore St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday, March 10. QuackerJack, Ducks Manager Kevin Baez, Outfielder/Hitting Coach Lew Ford, Pitcher Rob Rogers, Team President/GM Michael Pfaff and members of the Ducks Street Team greeted thousands of spectators that lined Main Street and tossed a few t-shirts into the crowd.

The fun continued on Sunday, March 11th when the team made its way north to Ronkonkoma’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade. QJ and Baez were joined by the Relish Hot Dog as well as Ducks On-field Host Fred Forgione to wave to fans and get in the holiday spirit. Members of the Street Team also passed out Ducks Pocket Schedules to fans at both parades in advance of this year’s All-Star Summer, presented by Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center.

The holiday fun continues on Sunday, March 18th when the Ducks make their way out east to Patchogue for their annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Fans can catch the Ducks float and newly-wrapped van as it heads down Main Street beginning at 12:00 p.m. The team will then host its Opening Night of Ticket Sales event at Bethpage Ballpark on Friday, March 23rd beginning at 5:00 p.m. CLICK HERE for more information.
