York jumped out to an early lead with a RBI double by Andres Perez off Ducks starter Chris Hayes in the top of the first. The Ducks would tie it up in the second when Dan Lyons singled to left off Revolution starter Chris Waters and Joash Brodin scored on an error by the left-fielder.

Ray Navarrete put the Ducks in front on a two-run home run to left in the third. York got a run back with a sacrifice fly to right off the bat of Chris Nowak in the fourth, but a four-run eighth for the Flock put the game away. A two-run single by Brodin, a RBI single by Kraig Binick and a sac fly off the bat of Lyons highlighted the inning.

Chris Hayes (2-3) picked up the win, tossing seven strong innings, allowing only two runs on five hits while striking out two. Waters (2-5) suffered the loss, giving up three runs (two earned) on eight hits over seven innings of work.

Brodin led the Flock with three hits at the plate, while Navarrete and Lyons chipped in with two each.
