Purchase special ticket packages at box office or by phone
(Central Islip, N.Y., May 9, 2019) – The Long Island Ducks today announced the team will host a Memorial Day BBQ and Catch on the Field prior to their home game against the Lancaster Barnstormers on Monday, May 27. Fans can purchase special ticket packages today by visiting the Bethpage Ballpark box office or calling (631) 940-TIXX.
Prior to the game, the Ducks will host a Memorial Day BBQ in the Picnic Area. Fans will be able to enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet that includes hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, ribs, roasted corn, Pepsi beverages, cookies, potato chips, snacks, watermelon and salads. The picnic will begin two hours before first pitch at 4:35 p.m. and will last through the start of the game. Fans can purchase a package right now that includes access to the Memorial Day BBQ and a ticket to the game for just $30 or $24 (children 4-9). Those who already have tickets to the May 27 game can upgrade their ticket to include the BBQ for $20 or $14 (children 4-9).
A second package is also available that includes the Memorial Day BBQ, a ticket to the game and the opportunity for a pair of guests to take the field at Bethpage Ballpark for a pre-game catch. This unique experience will last for 15 minutes from 5:05 to 5:20 p.m., and the pair will receive a Ducks logo baseball to use for their catch and keep as a souvenir. Participants should bring their own gloves for the catch and must sign a waiver before taking the field. Fans can purchase this package for just $40 or $34 (children 4-9). Those with tickets to the May 27 game already can upgrade their ticket to include the BBQ and Catch on the Field for just $30 or $24 (children 4-9). Pre-game catch packages are available on a first come, first serve basis, and availability is limited.
