The Long Island Ducks welcomed their 700th sold out crowd in franchise history on Saturday, June 10, when the team defeated the York Revolution 12-10 at Fairfield Properties Ballpark.
The Ducks reached the milestone in their 23rd season of play in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. No team in the league’s 25-year history has hosted more sellouts than Long Island. In addition, the Ducks have now welccomed a grand total of 8,700,648 fans through the gates of Fairfield Properties Ballpark. That total also ranks first all-time in Atlantic League history.
The Ducks currently lead the 10-team Atlantic League in total (105,702) and average (4,404) attendance during the 2023 season. Since its inception in 2000, Long Island’s hometown team has led the Atlantic League in attendance on 16 different occasions. Additionally, the Ducks have led all Major League Baseball Partner Leagues in total attendance over the past two seasons (2021-22) and led the ALPB in total (285,888) and average (4,538) attendance last season. Long Island increased its total attendance by 28% and average attendance by 14% from 2021.
