Brownell, who is in his sixth season with the Flock, has put together a terrific season thus far. In 13 starts, he has compiled a 5-1 record with a 2.76 ERA (fifth in the league) and 46 strikeouts over 81 and one-third innings of work. Eight of his 13 outings have been quality starts, and he has thrown at least seven innings in seven of them, including six of his past seven starts. Brownell is currently the Ducks’ all-time leader in wins (51), games started (122), innings pitched (810.2) and strikeouts (617).

Diaz, a third-year Duck, has been one of the Atlantic League’s top relievers in 2017. In 28 appearances out of the bullpen, the right-hander has posted a miniscule 1.28 ERA, yielding just five runs (four earned) all season. Over 29 innings of work, he has given up just 21 hits and 13 walks while striking out 29 batters. Diaz began the season with 11 consecutive scoreless appearances from April 20 to May 17. He then went on to pitch 13 straight scoreless outings from May 23 to June 24. In three seasons with Long Island, the 30-year-old has compiled an 8-6 record with a 2.20 ERA in 141 games.

Songco, who is in his first season with Long Island, brings a powerful bat to the Liberty Division squad. He currently leads all Liberty Division players and is fourth in the Atlantic League with 14 home runs. In 64 games, he has accrued a .279 batting average and leads the Ducks with 36 RBI. The 28-year-old has scored 37 runs while collecting 65 hits, eight doubles and one triple. Songco totaled a 16-game on-base streak from May 8 to 24, the longest on-base streak by a Duck this season.

Reyes, currently in his second season with the Ducks, has been one of Long Island’s most consistent offensive contributors this year. His .305 batting average ranks ninth in the Atlantic League, and he has totaled a team-high 74 hits in 64 games. In addition, the Nicaragua native has two home runs, 31 RBI, 18 runs and 11 doubles. Reyes hit safely in each of his first seven games to begin the season and put together an eight-game hitting streak from June 11 to 21.

Burg, a first-year Duck, has helped guide the Ducks’ pitching staff to a 3.93 ERA (third in the league) and a .260 opponents’ batting average, (second in the league). In 57 games, the backstop has posted six home runs, 22 RBI, 23 runs, 10 doubles and one triple. Defensively, he has accrued a .984 fielding percentage behind the plate while throwing out 27{2db62e8169997a8d599beca7d6013ac1e46056278d69ddd3df039f4c0be21f7d} of base stealers.
