Concession stands and Duck Club offering special menu items
(Central Islip, N.Y., May 28, 2013) – The Long Island Ducks host the Camden Riversharks in a two-game series this Wednesday and Thursday. Fans will have the opportunity to enjoy many unique food specials available at concession stands throughout Bethpage Ballpark as well as in the Duck Club restaurant and bar.
During Wednesday’s game, the Carvery, located along the third base line where fans can also purchase Smokin’ Al’s Pulled Pork, will feature the Cuban sandwich, complete with sliced roasted pork, cheese and pickles on fresh bread. At the first and third base concession stands, fans will be able to purchase a deluxe bacon cheeseburger, which comes with an all-beef patty topped with melted cheese, crisp bacon, lettuce, tomato and onion, served with french fries.
On Thursday, the Carvery will offer a home-style meatloaf sandwich topped with fried onion straws and brown gravy on a bakery fresh roll. Fans will also have the opportunity to enjoy a batter dipped fish filet, fried to a golden brown, and served over chips at the first and third base concession stands.
The first and third base stands will also continue to feature their brand new garlic parmesan fries for both games against Camden. For those craving a sweet snack, the first base stand will also be selling cinnamon nachos: flour tortilla chips dusted with cinnamon sugar, topped with fresh whipped cream and drizzled with caramel and chocolate sauce.
In the Duck Club restaurant and bar, fans will be treated to an appetizer, sandwich and entrée special throughout the two-game set. The appetizer special will be duck wings, which are crispy duck wing and drummette pieces drizzled with an orange teriyaki glaze. The sandwich special will feature a fried flounder sandwich, complete with a beer battered flounder filet served on a toasted potato roll, topped with tartar sauce and served with french fries and cole slaw. Finally, the entrée special will be paella, which includes shrimp, chicken and sausage atop a bed of yellow Spanish rice.
The Duck Club restaurant and bar is located on the Luxury Suite level at Bethpage Ballpark behind home plate. Exclusively for season ticket, luxury suite and 10-game mini plan holders who have included access in their package, the Duck Club features:
