Team seeking host families throughout Long Island community
The Long Island Ducks are currently seeking host families for Ducks players and coaches during the 2021 season. Host families have the chance to develop lasting friendships with a member of the Ducks off the field while also getting to cheer them on throughout the season. Players and families have often remarked about the benefits of their experience and everlasting bonds that have been created.
Being a host family also comes with several benefits, including:
- On-field recognition during Fan Appreciation Day at Fairfield Properties Ballpark (October 10)
- The opportunity to watch a Ducks game from a luxury suite (10 tickets included)
There are also only a few requirements to become a host family:
- A private bedroom for the player
- The use of a bathroom, laundry facilities and kitchen
Additional amenities that can be provided will be greatly appreciated by the player and Ducks organization.
