Opportunity for fans to exchange tickets from missed games

(Central Islip, N.Y., June 22, 2015) – The Long Island Ducks have announced that June 29 and 30 as well as July 1 and 5 will be “Unused Ticket Days” at Bethpage Ballpark. If you could not make it out to a ballgame thus far during the 2015 season and are still in possession of your unused tickets, the team is offering fans the chance to exchange those tickets for ones of equal or lesser value at the Bethpage Ballpark Box Office, subject to availability.

“No Ducks ticket should go unused,” says Ducks President/GM Michael Pfaff. “If you’re a fan holding an unused ticket from earlier this year, come to the Bethpage Ballpark Box Office and exchange it for one of these four great games.”

Ticket holders interested in trading in their unused tickets can do so by visiting the Bethpage Ballpark box office. Tickets can be exchanged for games on June 29, 30 and July 1 against the Lancaster Barnstormers or July 5 against the Somerset Patriots. First pitch for the games against the Barnstormers is scheduled for 6:35 p.m., while the contest against the Patriots is slated to begin at 5:05 p.m. A one dollar fee per ticket will be applied to account for the Suffolk County surcharge on all tickets printed.

Highlights for the unused ticket day games include:

June 29 – 20K Match Game Monday promotion! A lucky fan can win $20,000 if the last six digits of their New York State driver’s license matches the six digits of a featured Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).

June 30 – The first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive a Ducks “Fan Designed” T-Shirt, courtesy of Affinity Skilled Living and Rehabilitation. The design on these shirts was submitted by Ducks fan Michael Summo of Lindenhurst during a contest in the month of May.

July 1 – It’s “Don’t Zone Out” Night at Bethpage Ballpark! The first 2,500 fans in attendance will receive a Ducks Static Cling Decal, courtesy of CSEA.

July 5 – Catch the final game of the season’s first half! The first 1,500 fans will receive Yellow and Navy Baseballs, courtesy of Yellow Dog Lawn Care. It’s also a Sunday Family Funday, featuring a pre-game autograph session and our postgame Kids Run the Bases, presented by Bethpage Federal Credit Union.

The exchanging of tickets must be done at the Bethpage Ballpark Box Office, and cannot be done over the phone or via the Internet. For more information, please contact the ticket office at (631) 940-TIXX.
