Lancaster jumped out to a 4-0 lead against Ducks starter Bobby Blevins with a run in the third and three in the fourth. Cole Garner’s solo homer and two-run double along with a RBI single by Fred Lewis did the damage.

Another run in the sixth increased the advantage to five, but Adam Bailey’s sac fly to center in the bottom of the sixth off Barnstormers starter Clayton Tanner trimmed it back to four at 5-1. Two more runs in the seventh for the Ducks on Fehlandt Lentini’s two-run single cut the deficit to two. However, a two-run single in the ninth by Garner put the game out of reach.

Tanner (1-0) earned the win, tossing six innings, allowing one run on six hits while striking out four. Blevins (1-1) suffered the loss, surrendering four runs on seven hits and four walks in five innings.

Lentini led the Flock with four hits and two RBI while Lew Ford chipped in with three hits.
