The Ducks scored first for the third consecutive game, as Cody Puckett connected for a RBI double in the first inning off Revolution starter Logan Williamson. It stayed that way until the top of the sixth when two more runs scored on a wild pitch by Ian Durham and a RBI single by Jon Griffin.
York pulled back to within a run at 3-2 in the bottom of the sixth on a two-run home run to right by Eric Patterson. However, Long Island answered with a RBI single by Lew Ford in the eighth and a sacrifice fly by Bryan Sabatella in the ninth to put the game out of reach.
