(Lancaster, Pa., Aug. 23, 2026) – The Long Island Ducks defeated the Lancaster Stormers 10-5 on Sunday afternoon in the final game of a six-game series at Penn Medicine Park.

The Ducks jumped out in front 2-0 in the top half of the first inning on Anthony Garcia’s RBI double and Marcus Chiu’s run-scoring groundout against Stormers starting pitcher Matt Swarmer. Lancaster got to within 2-1 in the third on Tyler Miller’s RBI base hit versus Ducks starter Michael Dominguez.

The Flock made it 3-1 in their favor in the fourth thanks to a René Pinto sacrifice fly. The visitors sent 10 batters to the plate in the fifth and scored seven more runs for a decisive 10-1 cushion, highlighted by a Jacob Robson run-scoring two-base hit, RBI singles from Garcia and Henry Kusiak, a sacrifice fly off the bat of Jorge Bonifacio and a three-run home run to the opposite-field in right from Pinto. The Stormers plated four runs in the sixth to cut the deficit to 10-5 on Nathan Martorella’s three-run home run and David Smith’s solo tater but would not get any closer as the Flock won their third consecutive game overall to take the series.

Dominguez (6-4) picked up the win as the right-hander allowed four runs on five hits in five innings pitched, walking three and striking out seven. Swarmer (4-6) was tagged with the loss, surrendering nine runs (eight earned) on eight hits across four innings of work, walking four and striking out three.

Robson had two hits, an RBI, a pair of runs scored and a walk. Garcia had two hits, two RBIs, a run scored and a walk. Kusiak had two hits, an RBI and a run scored. Kaler had two hits, a run scored and a stolen base, while Pinto notched his first four RBI game en route to the victory.
