Outfielder Delta Cleary, Jr. is a contributor on multiple levels when discussing the on-field success of the Long Island Ducks during his three-year tenure with the club. He has hit for average, posting a .294 career batting average with Long Island, flashed speed on the basepaths, swiping 84 bases and scoring 142 runs, and displayed consistently excellent defense roaming the outfield, mainly center field, for Long Island’s hometown baseball team.

However, on Thursday, July 27, the Arkansas native flashed another skill set at Ducks supporters. The first 1,500 fans that entered the ballpark received a sponsored poster giveaway, graphically designed by the outfielder, that features many of the players with multi-year tenures on the club.

The poster giveaway, sponsored by Montauk Brewing Company, will be a keepsake, marking the first-ever giveaway designed by a player on the Ducks roster. LIDucks.com discussed the giveaway, the process and thoughts behind the giveaway with the graphic designer himself.
