Case begins his second season with the Ducks and eighth in professional baseball. The right-hander pitched in a team-most 54 games with the Ducks in 2025, which was also fifth overall in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. He compiled a 5-3 record with a 3.22 ERA and 48 strikeouts across 44.2 innings of work.

The 29-year-old was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 17th round of the 2018 amateur draft from Rollins College (Winter Park, Florida). The Pelham, NY native spent six seasons in the Pirates organization (2018-19; 2021-24), going 29-20 with a 4.35 ERA and one save across 152 games and 45 gams starts. In 2019 he was a member of the South Atlantic All-Star Team while pitching for the Single A Greensboro Grasshoppers.
