Tempone begins his second season with the Ducks – first as a player – and first in professional baseball. The 24-year-old played four seasons (2022-25) of collegiate baseball at the University of Massachusetts – Dartmouth, where he majored in Business Administration (MBA). In 129 games, he compiled a .242 batting average with 14 home runs, 89 RBIs, 57 runs, 100 hits, 25 doubles, two triples, 58 walks, seven stolen bases and a .756 OPS. He led the team in 2025 with five homers, 41 RBIs, 52 total bases and 120 at bats. The Smithtown, N.Y., native also played three seasons in the Hamptons Collegiate League with the South Shore Clippers. In 61 games, he totaled six homers, 26 RBIs, 27 runs, 29 hits, five doubles, one triple, 29 walks and a .309 on-base percentage.
