Flores begins his first season with the Ducks and sixth in professional baseball. The catcher comes to Long Island after spending the 2024 season combined with the Arzona Complex League Angels, the Tri-City Dust Devils of the Northwest League and the Rocket City Trash Pandas of the Southern League.

In 2019 while playing for the Giants in the Dominican Summer League, the backstop hit .325 in 51games along with three home runs, 35 RBIs, 34 runs, 27 doubles, a .370 on-base percentage, .408 slugging percentage and .778 OPS.
