Bio

Langford begins his first season with the Ducks and third in professional baseball. The right-hander joins the Ducks after spending two seasons in the Angels organization (2023-24), pitching for the Inland Empire 66ers (A) of the California League in 2023, and the Tri-City Dust Devils (A+) of the Northwest League, the Rocket City Trash Pandas (AA) of the Southern League and the Salt Lake Bees (AAA) of the Pacific Coast League in 2024. 

The Ohio native played five seasons of collegiate baseball (2018-2022) at Florida Southern, going 2-3 with a 5.05 ERA and 10 saves in 45 games, striking out 75 batters in 66.0 innings of work. He also pitched in 2022 with the Frederick Keys in the MLB Draft League, tallying a 1-0 record with a 1.84 ERA and one save to go along with 28 strikeouts in 14.2 innings pitched.
