Bio

Romano begins his third season with the Ducks and 15th in professional baseball. The right-hander has pitched in 28 games (six starts) with the Flock, posting a 3-2 record with a 3.81 ERA, one save and 45 strikeouts to 20 walks over 54.1 innings of work. The Syosset native has five seasons of Major League experience with the Cincinnati Reds (2017-21), Milwaukee Brewers (2021) and New York Yankees (2021). In 88 MLB games (41 starts), he posted a 15-21 record with a 5.23 ERA, two saves and 211 strikeouts to 109 walks in 275.1 innings. Romano was originally selected by the Reds in the 23rd round of the 2011 amateur draft from Southington High School in Connecticut.
