(East Meadow, N.Y., Jan. 18, 2014)
– QuackerJack was seen out and about in East Meadow on Saturday for the Seventh Annual Alure Home Improvement Design & Planning Show. This year’s show featured a variety of new products, seminars, expert panels and kids activities to greatly enhance the experience.

QJ spent time under the Kids Tent playing Nintendo Wii, skeeball and pop-a-shot. The lovable mascot hung out with visitors who enjoyed cotton candy and popcorn. QuackerJack also had fun with his friend, the Pink Panther, and the two entertained guests by dancing to music played by Long Island’s K-98.3. The appearance was capped off when the balloon artist gave QuackerJack a balloon animal version of himself.

Following the show, QuackerJack headed to Telecare’s studios in Uniondale for their annual telethon. While there, Long Island’s favorite mascot presented Monsignor Jim Vlaun with a check for $1,000, courtesy of the QuackerJack Foundation.
