Ducks mascot visits Alure Home Improvement and Telecare

(East Meadow, N.Y., Jan. 19, 2013) – QuackerJack was seen out and about in East Meadow on Saturday for the Sixth Annual Alure Home Improvement Design & Planning Show. This year’s show featured a variety of new products, seminars and kids activities to greatly enhance the experience.

QJ spent time under the Kids Tent playing Nintendo Wii, mini golf, skeeball and the frog flipper. The lovable mascot hung out with the balloon animal girl as well as visitors who enjoyed cotton candy and popcorn. QuackerJack was also seen dancing to music played by KJOY 98.3 while there were raffles, promotions and prizes for all attendees, including a flat screen TV, iPad, tickets and so much more.

Following the show, QuackerJack and Ducks coach Bud Harrelson headed to Telecare’s studios in Uniondale. While there, they presented Monsignor Jim Vlaun with a check for $1,000, courtesy of the QuackerJack Foundation.
