(Farmingdale, N.Y., May 12, 2021) – Long Island Ducks mascot, QuackerJack, visited Farmingdale Meat Market on Wednesday to help take part in their 75th Anniversary Celebration.

The family-owned and operated local butcher shop hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony beneath sunny skies on a beautiful spring day. Elected officials from Farmingdale Village, including Mayor Ralph Ekstrand, and New York Islanders four-time Stanley Cup champion Clark Gillies were also in attendance along with QuackerJack. Farmingdale Meat Market is currently in the process of giving away $75 gift cards daily for 75 consecutive days to a random store customer.

The market, also known as Main Street Wholesale Meats, is a proud partner of the Long Island Ducks. They are also the team’s official supplier of hamburger and sausage offerings, along with other specialty items. Try them out on your next visit to Fairfield Properties Ballpark!

The Long Island Ducks are members of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball, a Professional Partner League of Major League Baseball, and play their home games at Fairfield Properties Ballpark. For further information, visit LIDucks.com or call (631) 940-DUCK (3825).
