(Queens, N.Y., Nov. 10, 2012) – On Saturday morning, QuackerJack and the Ducks Street Team, powered by National Grid, visited a pair of Sports Authority locations in Queens to help celebrate their Grand Re-Opening. The lovable mascot enjoyed a morning full of music, food, games and overall fun.

QJ’s first visit was to Woodside, which featured high fives with many of the employees and customers in attendance. Two high school bands were also there to play some tunes and create a festive mood.

QuackerJack then traveled to Glendale and joined two more high school groups who were selling baked goods to celebrate the Grand Re-Opening. While inside the store, QJ saw a martial arts demo and played a little game of “Find QuackerJack,” with the lucky winner receiving a $10 Sports Authority gift card. It was an exciting day for the Ducks mascot and Sports Authority!
