(Riverhead, N.Y., Nov. 22, 2024) – On Friday, QuackerJack and the Long Island Ducks attended the Suffolk Courts Adoption Day Celebration, held at the Long Island Aquarium.
Past and present adoptive families came together to celebrate the adoptions of 11 children from foster care across Suffolk County with a breakfast at the Sea Star Grand Ballroom. Judges, attorneys, court staff, case workers, and honorary dignitaries were all in attendance to help celebrate the special day for the children and their new families. The fun continued after breakfast, as everyone was able to explore the aquarium!
QuackerJack had the opportunity to meet, greet and take photos with all of the families, children and Suffolk Courts staff. QJ and the Ducks appreciated the invitation to such a meaningful and heartwarming event.
QuackerJack loved being able to not only congratulate those who are newly adopted but show his and the Ducks appreciation for all of the hard work that everyone over at the Suffolk Courts puts into making these adoptions happen ahead of the holiday season.
