Annual event highlighted by “Best Long Island Mascot” appearance
(Melville, N.Y., March 15, 2016) – QuackerJack was invited on Tuesday to the 26th annual Long Island Builders Institute House, Trade & Remodeling Expo by long time Ducks partner Alure Home Improvement.
As part of the event, Alure built a sports-themed playhouse that was judged as part of a contest by a panel of children and guest celebrities, including New York Islanders great Clark Gillies. The playhouse included pictures and graphics from several of New York’s sports teams, including the Mets, Yankees, Islanders, Rangers, Nets, Knicks, Red Bulls, and of course, the Long Island Ducks. QJ took pictures with Alure Home Improvement owner Sal Ferro and Gillies during the expo.
