QuackerJack Foundation
The QuackerJack Foundation (“QJF”), the charitable arm of Long Island’s hometown baseball team, the Ducks, is a 501 (c) 3 that was formed in 2003 to better coordinate the team’s charitable endeavors.
Since inception, the QJF, named after the club’s ubiquitous and ever-popular mascot, QuackerJack, has provided donations, appearances, goods and services, working with hundreds of local Long Island charities annually. The mission of the QuackerJack Foundation is to serve the Long Island region and its many causes in need of assistance and awareness 12 months a year – not just during baseball season!
In 2023, the QJF donated to hundreds of causes locally, including the Alzheimer’s Association (Long Island chapter), the Great South Bay YMCA, the Catholic Faith Network, the United Veterans Beacon House, the ALS Ride for Life, and many more. All donations are 100% tax-deductible and are used through the QJF to better assist worthy causes in need of assistance right here on Long Island (Tax I.D number 81-0605978).
