(Flanders, N.Y., Dec. 4, 2024) – The Long Island Ducks took a trip out east for Flanders’ annual Big Duck Holiday Lighting!

The night was filled with holiday performances from local Irish step dancing groups and high school choirs, all while building up to the duck lighting. QuackerJack joined with the Parks Department and Suffolk County Executive Ed Romaine on stage for the final countdown to light the Big Duck.

QuackerJack spent his time celebrating, getting to meet and greet fans while also surprising those who attended with some Opening Night offers! He even met up with his old friend, Santa Claus. Turns out, it is another year on the Nice List for QJ.

QuackerJack and the Long Island Ducks appreciated the invite to spend another season spreading holiday cheer out in Flanders.

The Long Island Ducks are entering their 25th Anniversary season of play in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball and play their home games at Fairfield Properties Ballpark in Central Islip, N.Y. They are the all-time leader in wins and attendance in Atlantic League history, have led all MLB Partner Leagues in total attendance for four consecutive seasons, and have sold out a record 713 games all-time.
