Mascot attends opening of new Federal Credit Union location
(Patchogue, N.Y., Mar. 3, 2012) – Long Island Ducks mascot, QuackerJack, was in Patchogue on Saturday to help open a brand new Bethpage Federal Credit Union location. The lovable mascot was thrilled to be a part of the festivities, as the naming rights partner for the Ducks’ home ballpark expanded further on Long Island.
QuackerJack spent the afternoon welcoming in new customers and getting residents excited for Bethpage Federal Credit Union as well as Long Island Ducks baseball in 2012. QJ posed for pictures with fans, signed autographs, and learned how to sign up for a new account.
The “Best Long Island Mascot” also spun the Bethpage Federal Credit Union prize wheel, where fans could win frisbees, soccer balls, and much more. QJ was joined by a face painter, a balloon artist, and many more people in what was truly a carnival-like atmosphere.
