(Centereach, N.Y., March 9, 2026) – On Monday, QuackerJack made an appearance at North Coleman Road Elementary School to help kick off the start of their PARP Reading Week. QJ could not miss out on the opportunity to celebrate this year’s theme, “Reading is Our Sport”!
While visiting his friends at North Coleman Road, QJ ran around greeting all of the students during their PARP Assembly, took part in their reading pledge and finished his visit off stopping by each classroom with a special delivery of bookmarks and stickers for each student, as well as a class photo-op. QuackerJack truly enjoyed being able to help remind the students how important it is to read and how fun it can be for everyone, even a duck! We thank North Coleman Road Elementary for thinking of the Ducks to help kick off such a special week for their school.
The Long Island Ducks are entering their 26th season of play in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball and play their home games at Fairfield Properties Ballpark in Central Islip, N.Y.
