(Central Islip, N.Y., Oct. 10, 2025) – On Friday, QuackerJack visited the Central Islip Fire Department to continue learning about fire safety.
QJ had the opportunity to hold the hose and put out a fire as well as learn how the jaws of life work. They were super heavy! QuackerJack also visited an ambulance, where he learned how to do proper CPR. They also had a ladder to teach the children in attendance how to climb out of a window as well as a smoke house to demonstrate how difficult it can be to see during a fire.
