(Central Islip, N.Y., March 21, 2025) – Long Island Ducks mascot, QuackerJack, had a busy week!

In addition to celebrating his 15th Best of Long Island award as the Best Team Mascot, QJ popped in to eight different schools throughout the Long Island community. The lovable mascot surprised all of his friends at each school during dismissal, saying hello to all of the students as they headed home for the day. He also stopped by many classrooms. QuackerJack got the children excited for their school’s group outing during the 2025 Ducks season.

QJ visited the following schools during the past week:

The Long Island Ducks are entering their 25th Anniversary season of play in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball and play their home games at Fairfield Properties Ballpark in Central Islip, N.Y. They are the all-time leader in wins and attendance in Atlantic League history, have led all MLB Partner Leagues in total attendance for four consecutive seasons, and have sold out a record 713 games all-time.
