(Central Islip, N.Y., Sept. 23, 2018) – On Sunday September 23rd, Long Island’s favorite mascot, QuackerJack, spent a busy day out in Nassau County. His stops during the day included the Mineola Street Fair with the Mineola Memorial Libray and the Pediatric Cancer Survivors Day at the Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater.

QuackerJack started his day at the street fair where he had a great time reading stories to the children along with Cinderella and Rapunzel. He enjoyed meeting all the boy scouts and little leaguers in attendance as well as visiting all the booths at the fair. QJ then hung out with many of the children at the Pediatric Cancer Survivors Day. He had fun playing games, dancing and interacting with all of the survivors and their families

The Long Island Ducks are members of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball and play their home games at Bethpage Ballpark. For further information, call (631) 940-DUCK or visit www.liducks.com.
