QuackerJack Greets Players on Little League Opening Day

(Central Islip, N.Y., April 24) – QuackerJack has been making the rounds throughout Long Island visiting Little Leagues as they open up their seasons. On April 15, the beloved mascot visited Gaynor Park to celebrate the start of the St. James/Smithtown Little League season.

Following the league’s parade, QJ met the participants at the fields and mingled with all the players and parents, enjoyed the concessions, and even tested his arm against players on the radar gun. QuackerJack topped out at 36 mph for the record.

With the start of the Ducks season around the corner, Copiague Youth League Baseball will conclude QuackerJack’s Little League Opening Day visits around Long Island on Saturday, April 28.
