York (10-16) opened the scoring in the first inning on a three-run home run to right field by Michael Burgess off Ducks starter Matt Larkins. In the bottom of the frame, Fehlandt Lentini doubled and scored on a pair of wild pitches by Revolution starter Ty’Relle Harris, cutting the deficit to 3-1.

The Revs pushed their lead to six with three more runs in the third and another in the fourth. An RBI double by Isaias Tejeda, a two-run single from Burgess and an RBI single from Tejeda did the damage. An RBI single by Cody Puckett in the fourth closed the gap to 7-2.

After a York run in the fifth, two more Ducks runs in the bottom of the inning made it an 8-4 ballgame. A mammoth solo home run to right by Angelo Songco and an RBI double to left by Marc Krauss highlighted the scoring.

Harris (1-2) picked up the win despite allowing four runs on five hits and six walks in five innings while striking out three. Larkins (0-3) took the loss, surrendering six runs on eight hits and a walk in three innings with four strikeouts. Five Ducks relievers combined to allow just two runs in six innings and struck out six batters.

The Ducks continue their homestand on Friday night when they open up a three-game series against the Somerset Patriots. Game time is slated for 6:35 pm, with the Bethpage Ballpark gates opening at 5:35 (5:20 for full-season ticket holders). If that player strikes out, fans will receive a special offer for a FREE 1-Topping Personal Pan Pizza at a participating Pizza Hut location.
