Long Island held to one run for second consecutive game
(York, Penn., Aug. 31, 2013) – The Long Island Ducks fell to the York Revolution 3-1 on Saturday night in the second game of a three-game series at Sovereign Bank Stadium.

York opened the scoring with two in the first off Ducks starter Pete Budkevics as Andres Perez drove in a run with a double, and Chad Tracy hit a sacrifice fly. Bill Hall smacked a homer to right in the second inning off York starter Pedro Liriano to put the Ducks on the board. Michael Hernandez added a RBI single in the sixth inning for the Revolution.
Liriano (6-4) picked up the win, allowing one run on eight hits in five innings, while Budkevics (0-2) suffered the defeat, letting up two runs on two hits in four innings. Michael Wuertz threw a scoreless ninth to pick up his fourth save.
Hall led Long Island with two hits.
The Ducks continue their six-game road trip on Sunday with the finale of a three-game series against the York Revolution. Game time is slated for 2:00 p.m. from Sovereign Bank Stadium. Long Island returns home on Friday, September 6 to open up a four-game series against the Sugar Land Skeeters. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m., with the Bethpage Ballpark gates opening at 6:05.
