GAME AUDIO: Highlights from Saturday’s game
Neither side was able to push across a run until the sixth inning when Lew Ford delivered a two-out RBI single to left off Skeeters starter Chris Smith. Sugar Land tied the game in the bottom of the inning on a run-scoring groundout by Ryan Langerhans off Ducks starter Bobby Blevins.
The Ducks took the lead back in the seventh on Adam Bailey’s RBI single to right. However, the Skeeters pulled back even in the eighth when Adam Godwin scored on Travis Scott’s groundout to first. Sugar Land won it in the bottom of the ninth on a walk-off single to center by Langerhans.
