Hired prior to the start of the 2006 season, 2024 will be Emil’s 19th year with the Ducks. He is responsible for the day-to-day operations of home clubhouse, visiting clubhouse and umpires locker room at Fairfield Properties Ballpark. The longtime clubhouse manager lists the All-Star Games held on Long Island in 2010 and 2018, eight trips to the Atlantic League Championship Series, an 0-2 series comeback in 2016, as well as being part of three championship teams in 2012, 2013 and 2019 as the highlights of his time with the Ducks. In addition to the Ducks, Emil has worked on the spring training clubhouse staff for the Cincinnati Reds in Goodyear, Arizona and has served on the equipment staff for the Long Island Nets, the NBA G-League affiliate of the Brooklyn Nets. A lifelong resident of Levittown, Emil is also a fan of the New York Islanders in his spare time.
