Michael Pfaff is President and Chief Business Officer of the Long Island Ducks, overseeing the organization’s business and baseball operations. A member of the organization since 2002, he was named General Manager in 2006, President in 2011 and Chief Business Officer in 2024. Previously, he spent seven years at the National Football League Commissioner’s Office in New York.

Under Pfaff’s leadership, the Ducks have established themselves among professional baseball’s most successful franchises, surpassing nine million fans, recording more than 700 sellout crowds and leading all MLB Partner Leagues in attendance for six consecutive seasons. Since assuming responsibility for baseball operations, he has helped guide the franchise to nine Atlantic League Championship Series appearances and four league championships. The Ducks’ historic 2026 season featured a franchise-record .635 winning percentage (80–46), an undefeated postseason and the organization’s fifth Atlantic League championship.

Pfaff is the Atlantic League’s first three-time Executive of the Year and has earned numerous business leadership honors, including recognition by Long Island Business News as a “40 Under 40” and “Executive Circle” honoree. In 2025, he was inducted into the Suffolk County Sports Hall of Fame.

Beyond professional baseball, Pfaff has helped expand the QuackerJack Foundation’s charitable impact to more than 800 nonprofit and community organizations annually and serves as a Long Island Trustee of the Energeia Partnership.

A Manhasset native and St. John’s University graduate, Pfaff resides in Sayville with his wife and children.
